We repair and replace a wide range of screens, including window screens, patio door screens, sliding door rollers, and custom-sized screens for odd or oversized frames. We also offer pet-resistant vinyl-coated polyester mesh upgrades for homes with dogs or high-traffic areas where durability matters.
For those who want serious protection, we install steel security screens—cut-resistant, tamper-proof, and built to last for decades—and security shutters that roll down for complete coverage when you're away. Whether it’s a single repair in Barrie or a full cottage upgrade in Muskoka, we’ve got you covered.
We make it simple—you don’t have to drop anything off. We’re a mobile screen repair service, which means we come to you and take care of everything on site, whether it’s a window screen, patio door screen, or sliding door roller repair. No need to haul heavy doors or awkward frames in your car—we bring the tools, materials, and parts to get the job done quickly and professionally right at your home or cottage. For most jobs in Barrie and surrounding areas, we aim to finish everything in a single visit, making it fast, convenient, and totally hassle-free.
Standard window screens range from $50–$100, depending on size.
Patio sliding door screen replacements are $99 + tax, and if the rollers need work at the same time, it's just $49 extra.
If you're only fixing rollers (no mesh replacement), the roller/track service is $99 on its own.
You can also upgrade to tear-resistant polyester mesh (pet screen) for most jobs for an additional $60–$100 per screen, depending on size.
Any unusual or non-standard wheel replacements are priced separately, but standard ones are covered in the above roller pricing.
Most standard repairs—like window screen replacements or patio door screen repairs—are completed same-day or within 24 to 48 hours, depending on the size of the job and our current schedule. We aim to complete smaller jobs, especially within Barrie and nearby areas, as quickly as possible, often during our first visit.
However, for non-standard repairs—such as custom-built screens, unusual frame sizes, bent frames, or screen doors with damaged or obsolete rollers—it may take longer, especially if special parts need to be ordered or located. Some screen doors, particularly older models or imported units, require specific hardware that can take time to track down.
We’ll always give you an honest timeline upfront, keep you informed during the process, and do everything we can to finish the job quickly and correctly the first time. Our goal is to make sure your screens are restored or replaced with zero hassle and long-lasting results.
Absolutely! We custom-build screens to fit any window or door, including oversized openings, arched windows, vintage frames, and other non-standard or irregular shapes. Whether your original screen is missing, damaged beyond repair, or was never there to begin with, we can measure and create a replacement that fits properly and functions like it should.
Keep in mind that odd-shaped frames or uncommon designs may take more time and increase the cost, especially if the screen needs to be fully rebuilt or special materials are required. But we’ve worked on everything from cottage sunrooms to converted porches and custom homes with tricky layouts, so chances are we’ve seen it before—and we’ll make sure you get a clean, professional fit that’s built to last.
We’re based in Barrie and service most of Simcoe County and areas heading north toward Muskoka, including Innisfil, Stroud, Alcona, Midhurst, Minesing, Angus, Oro-Medonte, Horseshoe Valley, Craighurst, Shanty Bay, Springwater, Elmvale, Coldwater, Orillia, Gravenhurst, and Huntsville.
For smaller jobs like a single patio door or just one or two screen repairs, we usually stay within 30 minutes of Barrie. For areas farther north—especially cottage country—we're happy to help if you're looking for security screens, shutters, or larger batches of screen replacements (like for rental properties, cabins, or businesses). We want to make the trip worth your time—and ours—so just reach out and let us know what you need!
Yes—our screens are built with durable mesh and solid aluminum frames designed to last through harsh Ontario seasons. You can also upgrade to tear-resistant polyester fiber mesh, better known as pet screen, which is vinyl-coated for added strength and is perfect for homes with dogs, cats, or rowdy renters—it holds up longer and takes more abuse than standard mesh.
For the security-minded, we offer steel security screens—our premium, top-tier product—tamper-proof, slash-resistant, and meant to last long after you’re gone and your grandkids inherit the cottage. We also install security shutters, built to last and perfect for locking things down while you head off on your next European hiatus. Want the best of both worlds? Go with security screens for open-window airflow and shutters for total protection when you're away.
